If you would like to spread the costs – We Can Help!
We’ll help you manage your hormone journey and we will also help you manage money.
Our Payment Plan option has been developed because I would love to help even more with their hormonal and life challenges. It is a way for you to access the medical help that you need and spread the costs so that it isn’t another ‘burden’ for you.
Typically ladies need 3 consultations. All of this is included and the costs spread over a 7 month period (with no extra cost). Our Payment Plan is a simple spreading of the cost of the ‘agreed’ package – the initial consultation and 2 subsequent consultations. By opting for this programme you agree to the full package of 3 consultations.
Plus, as a Community Member there are a heap of other benefits coming soon too.

Frequently asked questions
Do you accept private medical insurance?
Your insurance provider would be able to advise on your particular policy and whether your cover would include consultations, relevant investigations and management. Currently in most cases, consultations with Hampshire Health and Hormones are not covered by private medical insurance. This is because UK insurers generally don’t reimburse GP-led menopause, hormone health, or lifestyle medicine consultations.
Some patients have health cash plans (such as Simplyhealth, Healthshield, or Westfield Health) that may offer partial reimbursement for GP or wellbeing consultations. Coverage depends on your individual plan, and you usually need to pay upfront and claim back yourself.
What about workplace benefits?
Some employers now offer menopause or wellbeing support. If your workplace provides this, you may be able to use it towards consultations. It’s worth checking with your HR or wellbeing team.
Why isn’t this care covered by insurance?
Menopause, hormone health, and lifestyle medicine are often considered primary care or preventative health, which insurers generally don’t fund, even though these services are evidence-based and life-changing for many women.
How do I pay for my appointment?
Consultations are usually self-funded monthly through our payment plan option, or alternatively in advance of each separate appointment. We provide a detailed invoice for your records.
At Hampshire Health and Hormones, we focus on giving you time, clarity, and support, because your health and hormones matter. Insurance may not always cover it, but the care and expertise you receive absolutely will.
